I joined this group towards the end of May. I thought it would be a great way to stretch me in all kinds of creative (and not so creative as I've found) ways. Btw, Robin Atkins started the whole project. She's been an inspiration of mine since I bought her book a couple of years ago. Here is what it's all about:
"About the 2007 Bead Journal Project beadjournalproject.blogspot.co…
We are 240 women and 1 man who are dedicated and committed to creating 12 bead journal pages, one per month, for a year, starting June 1, 2007. We live in 13 different countries, including 37 states in the USA. Our primary goal during this process, is to stretch our creative and technical limits. The BJP is all about visual journaling using any media and techniques, as long as it includes beading."
I've recently had elbow surgery (boooo) and haven't really been able to bead until about last week. I began a 4x4 piece and my not so creative thinking head took over and I hated it. So I ripped it out and am starting the June page over. So the not so creative has limited me far more than the not being able to hold a needle in my dominant hand!
I'll be posting pics soon. But for now, get your butt going is my mantra. Not much time before June is over and gone!

Thank you ALL!
Wow, incredible! I'm not sure how one gets picked for a Daily Deviation but whoever, however, THANK YOU! :floating: LOL, until today I didn't know what a DD was!
I am overwhelmed with the number of comments, notes and Adds from everyone. I am trying to respond to everyone but (dang) it's slow going.
The feedback has been incredible and it's inspiring me to go bead right this minute! But if I do I won't ever get to responding to everyone. It also gives me the opportunity to visit all of your pages and get to see all of your art and I thank you in advance for that.
Again, thank you so much. I look forward to seeing you all thru art.

WIP
Work in progress: Not much. I have a felted doll form all made, just need to figure out what to bead on it. I have no inspirational thoughts on it, so it sits there staring at me. LOL. Prefer pictoral over abstract. I find abstract so difficult to do.
I've painted 2 wooden trays and laid some Rancho Curioso gift wrap into the bottom. I'll be covering it with tempered glass for a fractured mosaic look. On hold until I can get my dh to pick up the glass for me.
I saw a cute wooden box with polymer clay tiles on the top on one of the crafting shows the other day. Looked fun. Lets see, I have a wooden box, I have polymer, but I don't
Uploaded some old stuff
I don't know why I have so few pics of things I've done...but here are a few. As you can see I'm all over the board. Whatever thing I have handy to do I'll try to do it.
Which also means I'm not great at any of them, just average. But I get a whole lot of enjoyment out of doing all these things.
I'm going to have to start photographing all my stuff, my crocheted bags, felted bags, (ok, so I only have one so far!), metal clay, all my crafty stuff.
First day
Joined to view my friends work, maybe one day I'll post my own.
